Baku, Fineko: President has signed a decree on construction and repairs of buildings of general education schools that are in catastrophic conditions and improvement of logistical basis of higher educational institutions.

The Presidential Administration's press service informs that the decree sets a goal to fasten the process of replacement of school buildings in catastrophic condition with new ones and completion of repair works and improvement of logistical basis of universities. For these aims the decree stipulates AZN 25 million from Presidential Reserve Fund of State Budget 2008 for the Ministry of Education. Transfer of finances was commissioned to the Finance Ministry and solution of issues following the decree to the Cabinet Ministers.
