Fourteen students from SMK Merotai Besar, Tawau in Sabah are currently on an educational visit to the country.
The objectives of the visit, which ends on September 9, are to explore the education system in Brunei Darussalam, and to foster closer ties between the two countries.

The group recently paid a visit to Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), and on hand to welcome them were university staff at the Chancellor's Hall.

The students were briefed on the background of the university and the country's education system by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Education representative and Deputy Dean in Academic and Student Affairs Dr Hjh Norhani binti Pengarah Haji Buntar.
