Cairo, (Petra)—Minister of Higher Education Omar Shdeifat discussed with his Egyptian counterpart Hani Hilal means of boosting cooperation between the two countries in the fields of higher education and scientific research.

Talks during the meeting also touched on scholarships presented by the Egyptian government to Jordan, means of increasing the number of Jordanian students at Egyptian universities and the exchange of teaching staff.

Shdeifat highlighted the importance of boosting scientific and cultural cooperation between Jordanian universities and Cairo University.
