After winning this year's edition of the National Student Travel Foundation's Mini-European Assembly, students from the University of Malta, and Sir Mikelang Refalo post-secondary complex, Victoria, Gozo, recently took part in the annual educational prize tour, which included visits to the Council of Europe and the Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg and the European Commission and the European Parliament in Brussels. At a symposium organised by the British Council in Brussels, the students gave presentations on climate change and migration in the EU and the Mediterranean, which was followed by reactions by a panel including MEP Simon Busuttil, European Commission environment director general Andrew Murphy, and Steve Green, head of the British Council and European Research.
