Summer Bash 2008 - MIM supports Puttinu

The Malta Institute of Malta is once again supporting charitable events, this time in aid of Puttinu Cares Foundation in the much awaited Summer Bash 2008.

The Summer Bash 2008 is part of a health campaign targeting the prevention and treatment of cancer in our community. Abiding by the phrase 'Prevention is better than Cure' this program aims to increase consciousness with regards of cancer in Malta and to help people seek alternatives to improve their health and lifestyles to avoid this common condition.

The Summer Bash 2008 is compromising three massive staged events. The first being held in Mellieha on the 18th July entitled "Monsters of Tock Tribute Festival' starring three officially recognized tribute bands including: AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne, Bon Jovi.

The second entitled the '60's Specials' which will incorporate five original rock and roll icons, namely Jerry and the Pacemakers, Brian Poole, Dave Berry, Swinging Blue Jeans and the Searchers. The last event 'Ciao Italia' will be held on 6th September and will witness three great genuine Italian stars; Jimmy Fontana, Tony De Lara and Shalpi. All three events are FREE to the public.

The Malta Institute of Management will also be present and is contributing towards this campaign. MIM is generously offering the entire sum collected from new membership deals collected during the campaign to the Puttinu Cares Foundation. Apart form that, MIM will be going a step further and for each Educational Programme sold during this campaign it will contribute a generous sum to the campaign.Terms and conditions apply.
