THE Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant- General Bello Danbazau, has said that the paradigm shift in the army educational system has led to significant improvement in its educational values.
He said this in an address he delivered at the Nigerian Army Education Corps Biennial Training Week, which was held on Tuesday at the 2 Division, Nigerian Army, Ojoo, Ibadan.
According to COAS, represented by Brigadier-General Olufemi Adeosun, "there is the need to effectively re-orientate ourselves and maintain the current strides in our educational advancement for the overall benefit of the Army.
In his address, the Commander, Nigerian Army Education Corps, Brigadier Benjamin Bonaventure Aindigh, said the need to be intellectually equipped to meet the challenges of "our times cannot be overem-phasised."
According to him, "we must lead the way in acquisition of, postgraduate degrees in the Arts, Sciences and Information Communication Technology."
