Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has stressed his companion to attain knowledge and education. more importance has been given during his era of which many evidences are found One can realise the importance of education from the fact that during the age of prophet the prisoners of war could not afford the ransom for getting freedom were told to educate a Muslim child in exchange for their freedom", said Mr. Abdul Azeez Daryami, the Principal of Maadan Ul Uloom Madrasa Kallige, addressing the audience in the compound of Kallige Jama Masjid, in the inaugural ceremony of Maadan Ul Uloom Madrasa, here in Kallige town in Bantawal Taluk.
Mr. Daryami further said that after many centuries from the era of the prophet the Muslim community were backward in the field of education. However, now Muslim community is going ahead in the field of education and the community is taking interests both in the religious and formal education.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. V K Abdul Quadir Muliar said it was the responsibility of Muslim leadership to support and to guides the youths of the community.
Chief Guest of the function, Mr. G A Bawa, senior police inspector, said that when Muslim community will perform their duties properly the world will see reverence and respect. He said that Muslim have to perform their duties and responsibilities honestly and trustworthily.
